Study of interspecies communication, from scientific principle to daily practice
Overview
International Interspecies Studies is an academically grounded community for people who work closely with individuals of other species and want a serious, collaborative place to study. It connects applied ethology, anthrozoology, learning theory, and behavior modification to the situations practitioners encounter in daily practice, supported by scientific literature and years of field experience. The community begins its work with dogs, and it will expand toward other species as the project develops. Everything here is built to strengthen analytical competence, careful observation, and responsible, welfare-centered decision-making, inside a setting where honesty about uncertainty carries no penalty.

The community is built for animal trainers and other practitioners who want structured, academically grounded study alongside real practical application.

A safe place, kept small on purpose
The questions with the most weight in this field are often the ones people hesitate to voice, and a community earns its name once its members trust that they can bring those questions without being dismissed or measured against someone else’s certainty. That trust survives only in a setting kept intentionally small and well-matched, which is why access remains exclusive and limited. Everyone interested in the project begins with a first conversation that helps us understand one another and confirm that the community is the right place for what someone brings. This care protects both the practitioners and the individuals in their care, and it underpins everything the project offers.
